1-Adjust The Saves Value
Edit>Preferences>Performance
We All Use The "UNDO" Option ! But It's Limited .. SO We Can Go Much Further ..? YES WE CAN ! And That's HOW ! Adjust The History States Value As Much As You Want.
If You Want To Go Way Back ... You Can Change The History States Number As Much As You Want But It Reflects BADLY ON YOUR RAM ! SO If You Have A Weak RAM .. It's Preferred TO Not Put A Big Number.
2-How Much Do You Need From "Cache Levels"
This Option (cache levels) Controlls How Much Time Photoshop Needs To Get Back From An Action Apply Or A Filter Apply .. So As Much Its Value is Bigger As Much It's FASTER !
Edit>Preferences>Performance
The Default Value Is 6 But You Can Make It Bigger Until The Value 8 .. Then You'll Notice A BIG Difference In The RENDERING Operation Which Get So Much Better ! Because This Adjustment Is Convenient For The BIG Resolution Projects ... While Making You Cache Levels Bigger , The Quality Of The Project Get Better , It's The Same For The Speed Of Zooming Which Get More Quick !
This Option Also Uses So Much Of RAM ! SO Be Careful When Dealing With It . If You Have An Effective Ram (More Than 2Gegas) It's Perfect For You . But If You Have A Weak One . I Don't Recommend This Option For You , Try To Get A Faster RAM :)
3- Keep Your Eyes Open On Photoshop's Use Of RAM !

Edit>Preferences>Performance
Photoshop Uses Every Byte Of The RAM Value You Give To !
So You Can Decide How Much RAM Your Photoshop Uses , By Adjusting This Number Above ↑ .
So Be Careful ... If You Use Photoshop .. Don't Use Any Other Program While It !
Because It Makes It So Much Slow !
But If You're Obsessed With Reading Your E-mails And Using Office Programs All The Time .. Then You Can Reduce That Value , So You Let Some Of The RAM For The Other Programs , And For What Fits Your Computer's Performance .
4-Use A Better Scratch And Playing With Pics Hard Drive
Edit>Preferences>Performance
As We See In This Picture Photoshop Uses An Extra Space Of "C" Drive To Do Stuff With It .. Like .Temp Files ( I Guess) .
So Select A Drive That Has A Big Free Space .

6-Remove The Mini Thumbnail Of Layers
When You Add A New Layer , You'll See A Mini Thumbnail For It In The Layer's Panel , And We All Use A Larv Of Layers . SADLY These Thumbnails Uses So Much Of RAM And Effects Photoshop's Performance , Because It Updates It , Add It And Delete It . So It's Recommended To Remove Them Or Make Them Smaller
So When You See This Panel , Click On The Button Showing Up In The Picture And Select "PANEL OPTIONS"
Then This Window Shows Up .. Select The Convenient Option For You As We Said Before.
7-Delete The Backwards Saves Of A Project You Don't Want To Edit No Longer
Are You Finished From A Project , That You Don't Want No Long To Use The "Undo" Option ? So Delete The Backward Saves Of Photoshop And FREE YOUR RAM ! Give Photoshop More Space By Doing This Step.
